Factory Pre-Assembly Accelerates On-Site Installation for Multiple Data Center Projects
Qinfeng Technology has successfully delivered over 1,500 prefabricated liquid cooling piping modules to three large-scale data center projects in Asia and Europe since the beginning of 2026. The modules — including pre-assembled butterfly valves, sintered mesh filters, metal bellows and ISO pipe spools — were fabricated at Qinfeng’s Wenzhou and Anhui factories, then shipped to site for final bolt-and-clamp connection.
How Prefabrication Reduces Deployment Time and Quality Risk
Traditional on-site welding of liquid cooling piping often suffers from inconsistent weld quality, extended schedules and rework caused by field interferences. By shifting more than 90% of welding work to factory-controlled conditions, Qinfeng’s prefabrication approach ensures that all pipe spools, valve assemblies and flanges meet uniform quality standards. Each module undergoes pre-simulation to verify fit-up, followed by pressure testing and helium leak detection before leaving the plant. On-site crews simply connect modules using standard clamps or bolts, reducing installation time by approximately 70% compared to conventional field-fabricated methods.
Quality Control Highlights for Delivered Modules
Every delivered module includes: 100% helium leak test reports for all welded joints and valve assemblies EN 10204 3.1 material certificates for stainless steel components Dimensional inspection records confirming interface compatibility Ultrasonic cleaning and particle count verification for high-purity loops
Scalable Capacity for Growing Demand
Qinfeng’s two production facilities operate with dedicated prefabrication cells for liquid cooling orders, allowing parallel processing of multiple projects. The company maintains stock of common pipe sizes, valve bodies and fittings, reducing lead times for repeat orders. For customers requiring custom lengths, non-standard interfaces or special materials, Qinfeng’s engineering team provides drawing approval and sample production within two weeks.
